Caroline Yang is a Minnesota-based photographer specializing in documentary photography. Since opening her studio in 2001, she has worked with clients such as The New York TImes, Sports Illustrated, US Speedskating, Trek Bicycles, Minnesota Public Radio, and Boston Scientific. Major documentary projects have included the 2004-2006 Tours de France, the 2008 Presidential and Senatorial Campaign events, a project focusing on hunger issues in Minnesota, and the 150th Anniversary of the US-Dakota War of 1862. She has had three solo photo exhibitions, and her work was featured in the Sports Illustrated 2006 Best Photos of the Year issue.
Yang earned a BA from Tufts University in 1995. She worked as an advertising account executive at Fallon McElligott for three years before beginning her career as a professional photographer.
